Guardians of The Galaxy's upcoming 2014 Movie

Wednesday 2 October 2013

As i told you in the first post of GOTG, the movie will come out on 2014. The movie start shooting on June 2013 and now i'll just do daily life, read GOTG Vol. 3 (ongoing), and waiting on updates of cast, story line, costume, and well, leaked news if available. After gossip of gossip of gossip of the cast, story line, finally i ended up getting tired of it's own shit (maybe because i also follow the gossip of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Man of Steel sequel), and just read the news if it's official only. Here are some few early concept art of the movie looks, and looks great already.

At first few updates about the movie was the cast of Chris Pratt as Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord, then Zoe Saldana as Gamora, and Dave Bautista as Drax. So upon the three main character cast, i only familiar with Zoe and that's also because she's on J.J. Abrams's Star Trek and Avatar. The rest of the cast at the time is so much unknown for me except Benicio del Toro, and even him are playing a character that is not really important (in my opinion, man). Then Nova played by John C. Reilly, oh well who the hell, and recent updates on Wikipedia inform me that Nova Prime is a woman, obviously not Richard Ryder (as in the Comic), and that cutie Karen Gillan who shaves her head bald to play as the villain, Nebula, and surprising people at Comic-Con. Also an underwater shooting picture leaked by Dave Bautista himself as Drax the destroyer.

Storyline updates tells that Ronan would be the main enemy (which in the comic he is a friend, obviously). So let's just see the movie and review later, as in i don't actually care much about the different in here and there with the comic.

The biggest update is two of main GOTG member, which is Rocket Raccoon and Groot, even it's only CGI, are played by a very well known Actors; Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel as Groot. Oh by the way, Rocket Raccoon character are made inspired by The Beatles's song; Rocky Raccoon, which i think have a somewhat perfect fit lyric, well yeah, somewhat. Then the leaked trailer! The trailer is not released yet, but it already showed on Comic-Con and someone record it on phone camera, and the trailer has that 1969 song, Hooked On a Feeling by Blue Swede, there, Two songs for you to get to the mind frame for this movie. Maybe the song is oldies because Peter Quill got into space around 80's and well, he doesn't really update himself about what happen on earth, aren't there any music out there on space community?

Right above is the leaked trailer from the SDCC and that's the only footage we can see. It's more than enough excitement i think, until the real trailer shows up. So that's it about the movie, there will be no more updates of GOTG until the movie out, and i'll review it here about how awesome it is, or might it be a flop?
